The China Construction Bank (CCB) said by mid-December it had issued more than 10 million credit cards. The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) also claimed that it had issued more than 10 million credit cards and aggregate consumption volume exceeded 100 billion yuan by Dec. 25. The two banks jointly hold nearly 40 pct of China’s credit card market, according to the People’s Daily Online. More News
