On August 1 Citibank China opened its first drive-through ATM in Beijing. This is the first of its kind opened by a bank in China. Currently Citibank has a total of 95 ATMs in China including both in-branch and offsite.

Citibank China’s ATMs currently provide banking services to cardholders of internationally issued bankcards. It is expected that, once regulation permit, local residents holding debit cards issued in China will be able to access and use Citibank’s ATM network in China.

Citibank now has a total of twenty consumer outlets across seven cities in China, providing both foreign and RMB services to Chinese and foreign customers.
