Watchdata has officially launched its multi-application product URpass™, which combines the convenience of a contactless smart card and the security of a USB key.

Watchdata’s URpass™ supports both existing contactless and USB applications. The product comes with a card shape design and USB disk shape and in five colors (black, white, red, blue and pink).

URpass™ enables top-up via USB and through the internet. It is ideal for convergence that brings transit operators and banks together where users can use single device to do secure online banking, e-commerce and transit payment. This helps financial institutions and transit operators reduce the issuance of tokens,transit cards, and top-up stations, thus, reducing the cost of operations.
