The China Unionpay (CUP) and CSC Lebanon jointly launched CUP card ATM acceptance business in 9 countries of Middle East, Western Asia and Africa in April. Until now, the CUP card international acceptance network has been extended into 61 countries and regions in the world.

These 9 countries include Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Iraq, Djibouti and Congo (B). The ATMs accepting CUP cards are mainly located in capitals, major cities and scenic spots of the 9 countries. To facilitate the operation of Chinese tourists, the CUP logo will be shown on these ATMs and the Chinese language operation interface will be installed in as well.

In the next stage, CUP will continue its cooperation with CSC to extend the CUP card acceptance network into other countries and regions covered by the CSC network and open merchant acceptance business as soon as possible.
