GlobalPlatform has announced that its first one-day card specification training session for 2010 will take place at the Tsinghua Science Park, Beijing on Friday 29 January 2010.

The session will coincide with Sun Microsystem’s JavaCard™ China Telco Summit being held at the China World Hotel, Beijing, and will focus on the value that GlobalPlatform technology adds to mobile UICC deployments.

To be delivered in English, the program will provide delegates with detailed instruction on applying GlobalPlatform’s technology within mobile UICC deployments, an outline of the functionality offered by GlobalPlatform’s UICC Configuration - a technical guide which outlines a common and neutral environment to facilitate the secure delivery over-the-air of new and creative mobile services to consumers – as well as an insight into forthcoming technical releases.
