China UnionPay (CUP) has partnered with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) to issue its first Euro credit card in Frankfurt, Germany.

The CUP Euro credit card can be used by German cardholders in China as well as CUP’s global network covering 90 overseas countries and regions.

CUP card acceptance business was opened in Germany in 2005. At present nearly 50% ATMs and thousands of merchants distributed in major cities across Germany can accept CUP card.
