China Unionpay and Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) have reached a cooperation agreement to allow Unionpay card holders to use their cards at ATMs in New Zealand.

Form August 10, BNZ’s 404 ATMs in New Zealand will enable CUP cardholders to withdraw NZ dollars and check balances. BNZ will add Chinese menu on its ATMs in the future. According to the agreement, the bank will also enable its merchants to accept CUP cards by the end of this year.
