Chinese smart card supplier Eastcompeace has launched a subsidiary company with its first overseas factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The Eastcompeace Smart Card (Bangladesh) Ltd is in charge of sales and production of smart card for emerging Bangladesh market. The factory is designed for the full production of SIM card manufacturing. The site is responsible for Bangladesh local market; and it plans to support smart card business from adjacent areas in the near future, including the SAARC countries and MEA. It is able to turn out 25 million Pcs of cards annually, with a workforce of 40 persons.

Eastcompeace has maintained business relations with Bangladesh since year 2005. The opening of ECPB is another step further to international market penetration for Eastcompeace, following establishment of its first overseas subsidiary Eastcompeace Smart Card (Singapore) in 2005.
