Electronic Data Systems (EDS) is to locate a service center in Wuhan, a major city in central China’s Hubei Province. Being the first of its kind in China following the ones in India, South America, Eastern Europe, the service center is an important part of EDS’ global strategy.

It will provide outsourcing services for EDS’ global customers as well as its local Chinese customers. Located in a software development park in Wuhan, the service center will hire 700 employees this year, and the number is planned to increase to 3,000 within three years. ( Xinhua News )
