China Everbright Bank (CEB) has completed the deployment of Kalignite multivendor automated teller machine (ATM) software across its entire estate. The project took just eight months from start to finish and was completely rolled out by November, 2006.
CEB has over 1250 ATMs now deployed running Windows XP and Kalignite. It plans to deploy 250 more by the end of 2007. CEB’s estate includes 17 different models of ATMs (including cash recycling ATMs) made by six different manufacturers. As a result of the ATM software project, all of the ATMs run the same Kalignite-based application.
KAL’s development partner in China, Shenzen Zijin, is the supplier of the ATM application, which is built on the Kalignite Platform.
Headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland, KAL has offices around the world with business partners and customers in over 80 countries. The company offers ATM, kiosk and bank branch software that can be integrated with existing systems, reduces operating costs, and opens up the opportunity to provide new functions and services.
