GRG Banking has passed EMV migration test and certification organized by SMT (Société Monetique Tunisie).

SMT, the national switch of Tunisia, processes more than 70,000 ATM and POS transaction a day for 1.5 million accounts at 16 Tunisia banks. In addition, SMT is responsible for all card personalization in Tunisia.

GRG’s DT-7000 series ATM have received EMV Level 2 certificates as early as 2004. In just three weeks, GRG managed to pass Level 3 and getting official certificate from SMT. Till now, GRG has deployed more than 200 DT-7000 series ATM in Tunisia, all of which are capable of processing EMV standard transaction.
